My Friends,

The idea behind these tirades is that I have something to offer that you won’t find anywhere else. This time, I don’t.

Four turnovers by each team resulted in seven points by the Patriots, and that was the difference in the game. If I have anything to harp on, it’s the lack of physical presence that Bernard Berrian and Desmond Clark displayed on balls that were picked off right in front of them. Two balls thrown in the general vicinity of those two guys were not even close to being defended, and the result was a big zero on promising drives for the Bears.

Game, set, match.

Not that it matters. While the loss leaves our guys two games up on the Cowboys in the NFC, the Bears are still undefeated in the conference, and a couple more wins against weak competition should leave them with the top seed for the playoffs. No sweat, as none of the five future opponents has a record better than 5-6.

Furthermore, after the packers get their butts whupped tomorrow night in Seattle, the Bears will be donning NFC North Champions caps after beating the Vikings next Sunday afternoon.

Be sure to stick around for the ceremony. It was fun to watch at Curly’s place last year.
