Been thinking this for a while, so I want to put it out there.

 

Now that he has stubbornly refused to hold Bunky Bob accountable for his defense's abject failure, Lovie is on the hook for whatever comes in 2009, Marinelli or not.

 

I say they flop again if Babich is allowed to continue, and Smith will attempt to save his job midseason by firing Bunky and handing the reins over to Rod. It's all good if that works out, but Rivera coaches the Bears in 2010 if it doesn't.
